June Favourites

I am in love with this season, it is just my favourite time of the year. The sun is shinning, the skin gets darker, the hair gets lighter.   Pure happiness is to sit somewhere watching the sunset and the sea. During this time of the year I don’t use a lot of makeup, but I definitely try to stick to a good skincare and hair routine. I tried a couple of new products and I really loved those ones:

Face Wash

I bought those two products – L`oreal Skin Expert Pure Clay Illuminating  Cleansing Gel and Garnier Fresh Clarifying Wash with Green Tea. I was really excited to try the first one because I have been using the clay face mask from the same brand. I love both of those face washes and I use them everyday. If you want to read more about them let me know in the comment section down below.

Take Care of Your Hair

I got the chance to try out Moroccan Oil Extra Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, and I really like them. They make my hair very soft, smooth and light. I like the smell and the texture isn’t oily or heavy. I want to repurchase the real size products.

Cute Nails

I got a couple of new nail polishes since now I decided to take a small break from the gel-nail polishes. I really like those coral/ watermelon colours.

May Favourites

Hey beauties,

it is officially June.. I know, I can’t believe this either! Where did the first half of the year go? Anyway, since I have been on the way and crazy busy last month, I didn’t have the chance to blog more but I did get my hands on a couple of good stuff, so I decided to share with you.

Here are my favourites for May:

Grazia Bulgaria & Golden Tears from Mastic SPA

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle2

When I was back at home I got the new Grazia Bulgaria which came with a little Eye Cream – Golden Tears from Mastic SPA. I have read a lot of different reviews saying that this one isn’t the original product. Anyway I use it for the last two – three weeks, and I am pretty happy with it, so it is one of my favourites for May.

Hair Crystal Oil – Bio Pharma

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle3

The new – old favourite Argan Oil. I have used this product before and I really like it. I put it on my hair after shower and it makes it easy to comb and to manage, and of course last but not least it smells amazing.

Sleek Make Up Matte Me

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle4

This is my super extra favourite product for the last month. I have seen this all over Instagram and I was curious to try it out. I got Sleek Make Up Matte Me Ultra Smooth Lip Cream during my stay in Malta. The shade I chose is Bitter Sweet but I would love to try all of them as well as the eyeshadow palettes.

Liz Earle Nourishing Botanical Body Cream

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle5

Liz Earle is a British cosmetics brand, they have a huge range of body, hair and make up products. Good quality and the packaging is nice. This body lotion hydrates and soothes the skin, it also smells very good.

Schwarzkopf Got2B Straightening Spray

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle6

I got this hair spray by Schwarzkopf a long time ago but I started using it a little bit more often lately. It is for heat protection and it helps you to keep your hair straight for a little bit longer. I really like it because it makes my hair thicker and it looks stronger.

Book Sometimes I lie – Alice Feeney

may_favourites_xoxogabrielle7

I got this book Sometimes I Lie from the airport in Malta. I really like it so far and I am still reading it. It tells the story of a woman who is in a coma. To be honest it got me because of the cover and the tittle 🙂 Well.. I guess we all lie sometimes…

P.S:  Have you tried some of those products? Share with me your current favourites, I would love to try them out!

Aussie Miracle Review

Each one of us is facing different issues with her hair. Either you have a thin hair with no-volume, or your hair is damaged and coloured, I am sure you have tried a thousands of products and you are still trying to find the best one for you. Out there are so many different brands and types of hair products. During my hair journey I tried quite a lot of them too – some were good, others weren’t. Today I decided to review 2 hair products  of the super famous Australian brand Aussie. Both of them I find pretty amazing! And they are currently part of my hair routine.

There is more life than hair but it is a good place to start

The Aussie Philosophy

So here they are:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment

image

First of course I use a shampoo and then it is turn to Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment like a conditioner – 3 minute repairing therapy. I leave it on my hair for a couple of minutes, and then of course rinse it. And let me be honest, at first I was very sceptical about it and my first impression wasn’t so good. But after the second time I use it I really liked it and now I can say  it is actually very good. The texture is nice, not heavy and the colour and the smell are like a bubble gum (pink and sweet).

It contains Australian Jojoba Seed Oil and Aloe Vera which will smooth and control frizz, as in the same time will replenish moisture and will leave your hair luscious and shiny.

Ingredients:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment makes my hair more textured and I feel like it is in better conditions,  much stronger than before. I choose the Frizz Remedy because my hair is very soft, thin and it is very frizzy. Definitely super happy with it! I want to try as well some of the others 3 Minute Miracle Treatments especially the damaged hair treatment!

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil

image

After I get out of the shower and my hair is still wet before I try to maintain it I use Aussie 3 Miracle Oil. And let me tell you it is a REAL MIRACLE! You can also use it before shampooing kinda like a mask, or on dry hair just to make it shinier.

The texture is not greasy and it doesn’t make your hair heavy and oily. It contains Australian Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba-seed Oil and Avocado Oil. Smells like a candy.

Ingredients:

It leaves my hair smoother and shiner. Either you style your hair or you let it air dry ( Aussie believes in the air-dry-hair) it will have the smooth and silky finish.

Aussie  products are all very affordable but not so easy to get your hands on…at least in Europe. I found mine during my trip to Czech Republic, but for instance in Bulgaria, Aussie  products are difficult to find.

But you can always find them onlinehttp://aussiehair.com/en-gb . If you are trying to find your hair`s  best match, you can take a look at the website and you can choose by a huge range of products. Aussie have different collections which are suitable for different hair types. Aussie website will help you find the closest store to you or as well order the products online.

P.S: Let me know which one is your favorite Aussie product!

Summer Beauty Essentials

Skin Protection

It is so important to put a sunscreen on your body and especially on your face. For your body you can choose a little bit lower protection but for your face I suggest you better go 50 SPF or up. It will prevent wrinkles and over pigmentation. It will give you a nice soft skin and your tan will be even. There are so many products out there – from lotions to sprays, without smell or with that beachy smell and little shimmery pieces.

In the moment I use Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen SPF 30 for my body. It is a very hydrating and absorbs very fast, also doesn’t have that sticky effect. It smells so good and it has little shimmery pieces which makes your skin looks very shiny and fresh. For my face I use a baby sunscreen SPF 50.

Hydration

Even you have been wearing a sunscreen you still need some body lotion to hydrate after being under the sun. Lately I have been in love with Yves Rocher`s Body Lotion with Coconut. It is very affordable and it smells like heaven! Also it is really nice texture and absorbs really good. For my face I use La Roche Posay Oil Free Mattifying Moisturizer and it is very good choice for oily skin.

Blotting Paper

Like I said my skin is a little bit oily so when I am wearing make up it becomes really shinny (and it is not in a good way!) so blotting paper helps you to get rid of the oils and doesn’t mess up your make up. I use NYX Tea Tree Blotting Paper and I definitely recommend it!

Hair Care

You definitely don’t want to leave your hair without any protection. So you can choose some hair spray with SPF in it. And don’t forget conditioner and masks so it can recover from the sun. Lately my favourite hair product is Batiste Dry Shampoo. I touch my hair all the time and my roots get oily very fast. So the dry shampoo for me is  a must! It doesn’t leave any colour on your hair like some other products do. It smells good and it is very affordable.

Scrub

Don’t forget to exfoliate your skin. It will make your skin softer and it will remove dead skins, making you feel fresher and cleaner. If you use self-tanning products or you are going to the beach either way exfoliating will make your tan looking better and more even. I like to use exfoliating gloves or body scrub for my body. And gentle exfoliating scrub for my face. There are a lot of brands and they all work the same way.

Lip Balms

Lips are also important in your skin care routine. I love Burt`s Bees Lip Balms. They are made all by natural ingredients. Constantly making your lips hydrated and soft. They are coming with different kind of smell and are very affordable. My favourite is Vanilla Bean!

P.S: Basically those are my summer must have beauty items. Share with me yours down below in the comment section
